What Happens Next?
We are moving quickly to channel this beautiful neighborhood energy into visible, long-term change. Because this is a brand-new, exploratory phase, we are building the roadmap together from scratch—nothing is set in stone, and we truly need your help to shape it.
Here is how we are hitting the ground running with the details you just shared:
-
Nothing Is Set in Stone: We mean it. We are actively reviewing every piece of feedback, project tweak, and unique concept submitted through this form. Your voice is directly steering our timeline, deciding what projects stay or go, and showing us what the neighborhood actually wants.
-
Immediate Priority: The Fall Pumpkin Gathering! Because autumn is our first milestone, this festive family community gathering is our immediate, primary goal. We are locking down dates, supplies, and event spaces right now. Keep a close eye on your inbox for our very first volunteer planning committee huddle!
-
Planting the Seeds for June 2027: While the pumpkins are happening right now, our major, larger-scale initiatives—including The Pride Mural Project and The Visibility & Inclusion Storefront Project—are being built out as a massive long-term movement. We are using this fall as a launchpad to organize our volunteer network so we can debut these projects in full force for June 2027 Pride Month.
-
Artist & Wall Space Matching: If you signed up as a creator or indicated potential exterior wall space for the mural, we are saving your information in our core database. We will reach out to you as we begin the formal design, community feedback, and zoning process leading up to the June 2027 launch.
Keep the Momentum Moving!
Real change happens when the whole neighborhood shows up together. While we dive into the planning logistics, please take 30 seconds to help expand our reach:
-
Share the Initiative: Copy our project launch URL and text it directly to a neighbor, friend, or fellow South Boston small business owner who stands for community inclusivity.
-
Tag on Social Media: Head right over to our latest Instagram post and tag local artists, muralists, property managers, or your favorite main street storefronts to bring them into the fold.
“Solidarity is an action word.”
Thank you for taking action with us today.
