Mobile Flower Bar: Design

Elevate your event with the engaging and unique experience of our instructor-led Mobile Flower Bar. Guests will unlock their inner florist, guided through the process of designing personalized and gorgeous floral creations. This structured option utilizes floral wet foam for optimal arrangement stability and extended bloom life, providing a curated assortment of flowers, foliage, and decorative elements to fuel their artistic vision.

  • Fresh Flowers & Greenery: A diverse seasonal selection of blooms and foliage to choose from. 
  • Floral Container or Vase: The Container will vary in shape and color. 
  • Floral Foam: Pre-cut or blocks to be cut to fit various containers.
  • Containers/Vases: Various sizes and shapes to create different arrangements.
  • Cutting Tools: Floral shears or a floral knife for precise trimming.
  • Decorative Elements: Ribbons, pebbles, or other embellishments to enhance the final creation.
  • Interactive Guest Experience: A flower bar is not just a visual treat. It’s an interactive feature that uniquely engages guests.
  • Personalized Take-Home Arrangements: Guests can create personalized bouquets or arrangements as memorable favors or keepsakes of the event.

This immersive floral experience offers the option of having an instructor-led or a self-guided, step-by-step experience. 

To create a memorable event, specify the number of participants during the booking process. The starting package requires a minimum of 10 people.

Planning Process

It is essential to submit all requests 3 weeks before your event date. Once we get your request with full payment, we will start processing your order.

Understanding Expense for the Mobile Flower Bar Design:

  • Preparation Cost: The $385 covers the preparation process, drop-off, setup, pickup, and one instructor.
  • Participant Cost: Additional costs do apply for each participant.  Ensure you select the correct pricing for each participant based on your group size.
  • Distance Cost: The first 8 miles are free from Micro Plant Studio to the site where the mobile plant bar will be held. An $8 per-mile fee is applied when you exceed 8 miles. During the checkout process, the system will automatically add the miles and inform you of the extra cost.
  • Parking Cost: The parking fee is waived if your building has a loading dock that allows us to park during setup and the actual facilitation of the mobile plant bar, as well as the pickup of borrowed items.  The instructor does require one parking spot. If no parking is available, a fee is applied.

Once we have received your order, the $250.00 will be used to initiate the following actions to ensure a successful Mobile Flower Bar.

  • Order and process flowers. You will receive 3-5 different flowers and greenery. A Micro Plant Studio representative will share the available flowers and request any special colors of desire. Once the color choice has been decided, flowers will be ordered and processed. The process entails opening boxes, removing all unnecessary foliage and packaging, and hydrating the flowers the day before the event.
  • Print QR code labels for each participant. Each participant will receive a label to scan. Once scanned, they will be directed to our website, where a list of materials and supplies, along with the names of flowers, is available.
  • Gathering of materials. Before items arrive at the workshop space, a member of the Micro Plant Studio team will place all flowers of the same type in a bucket. This means all flowers will arrive hydrated.
  • Gathering of supplies. The mobile flower bar comes with tablecloths, floral shears, scissors, staplers, and paper towels.  Additionally, we enhance the overall experience by adding stickers. The type of stickers will vary with the season, typically featuring nature, cats, pride stickers, and other designs. Any supplies that are not used will be returned at the end of the experience by the teacher or collected the next day by a Micro Plant Studio employee.

This is not a self-guided experience. A teacher is required.

Also, please inform us in advance of any necessary paperwork that is required. The parking fee is waived if your building has a loading dock that allows us to park during setup, pick up, and teaching. If no parking is available, a fee is applied.

  • Delivery & Setup: The teacher’s arrival will be approximately 45 minutes to 60 minutes before the agreed-upon start time for the Mobile Plant Bar.
  • Pick-Up: At the end of the activation, the teacher will take with them the borrowed supplies, including bowls, trays, brushes, and any remaining hand sanitizer, as well as unused tablecloths, soil, and pebbles.
