We are a local small business with BIG ideas.
It all began in Julio’s art studio in Boston’s South End, where he designed his logo and website and propagated over 250 plants. This led him to open his first physical studio in South Boston, establishing the first Latinx plant business in New England. Julio, the founder and owner of Micro Plant Studio, used his savings from working in the non-profit sector to fund this studio. Julio has been searching for a second space since 2020 and was recently awarded the Boston SPACE Grant, which is being used to develop Micro Plant Studio’s flagship studio. Opening a second location creates exciting opportunities that call for innovation and creativity. Let’s make history together by establishing the first plant business to incorporate a 3D lab, a real plant bar, and retail studio space. We will be the leading destination for public and private plant and floral workshops and events. We are thrilled to share the process of transforming 1 Federal Street into an urban oasis. This project will be a one-of-a-kind addition to Boston, and we want you to be a part of it. Your donations, whether big or small, are integral to our success and will help us achieve our goal with the buildout of the space.
