Mobile Plant Bar

The Mobile Plant Bar is the perfect hands-on activity for corporate or personal events and special occasions. The design of the bar is intended to be self-service, or, if you prefer, a teacher can be added. You can build your very own personalized plant bar. The bar includes all of the ingredients; it comes with an assortment of 2″ plants, soil, pebbles, and stylish colourful pots. Also, we would like to provide you with the plant display stands, serving spoons, and bowls, as depicted in the image. If your group is larger, you can add the additional number of people when placing your order. Additionally, the bar includes self-guided steps for repotting the plant. The pots have been designed and 3d printed by Micro Plant Studio.

Starting package: 15 people minimum.

PLANNING PROCESS

It is essential to submit all requests 2-3 weeks before your event date. Once we get your request with full payment, we will start processing your order.

Breakdown Mobile Plant Bar expense:

  • Preparation Cost: The $250 covers the preparation process, drop-off, setup, and pickup.
  • Participant Cost: Additional costs do apply for each participant.  Ensure you select the correct pricing for each participant based on your group size.
  • Distance Cost: The first 8 miles are free from Micro Plant Studio to the site where the mobile plant bar will be held. An $8 per-mile fee is applied when you exceed 8 miles. During the checkout process, the system will automatically add the miles and inform you of the extra cost.
  • Parking Cost: The parking fee is waived if your building has a loading dock that allows us to park during setup and the actual facilitation of the mobile plant bar, as well as the pickup of borrowed items.  If no parking is available, a fee is applied.

Once we have received your order, the $250.00 will be used to initiate the following actions to ensure a successful Mobile Plant Bar.

  • Print an assortment of 3D pots. You will receive 3-5 different styles of designs. These pots are designed and printed in-house by Micro Plant Studio, allowing us to manage quality control, maintain inventory, and fulfill special requests.
  • Print QR code labels for each pot. Each participant will receive a label to scan and keep. Once scanned, they will be directed to our website, where they will find step-by-step instructions and plant care information.
  • Hydrate 2″ succulents. By hydrating the plants in advance, it allows for a smoother experience, eliminates the need for full access to a sink, reduces preparation time upon arrival at the workshop site, and minimizes water on the floor.
  • Gathering of materials, soil, and pebbles. Before items are delivered, we will divide all the materials into trays or ceramic bowls, depending on the size of the group. Pebbles are usually covered in dust. The pebbles will be washed prior they being delivered.
  • Gathering of supplies. The mobile plant bar comes with tablecloths, a hand sanitizer bottle, wet wipes, small and large spoons, and brushes to remove any debris. Additionally, we enhance the overall experience by adding stickers. The type of stickers will vary with the season, typically featuring plants, cats, pride stickers, and other designs. Any supplies that are not used will be returned at the end of the experience by the teacher or collected the next day by a Micro Plant Studio employee.

The self-guided Mobile Plant Bar comes with a QR code for step-by-step instructions. If you would like an instructor to lead the Mobile Plant Bar, you may add it during your booking process; an additional fee applies. For all self-guided Mobile Plant Bars, setup is at 8:45 am, and pickup is scheduled for the next day between 8:45 and 9:00 am.

The Mobile Plant Bar does not come with a teacher, but one is available for an additional fee. Having a teacher is great because they can facilitate a few interactive activities and engage with participants creatively. Please note that when hiring a teacher, they will arrive 45 minutes prior to the start of the Mobile Plant Bar for setup.

During the delivery of materials and supplies, parking near the building is essential.  If your building has a loading dock, it is necessary to coordinate all logistics with the building or loading dock manager. Also, please inform us in advance of any necessary paperwork that is required. The parking fee is waived if your building has a loading dock that allows us to park during setup, pick up, and teaching. If no parking is available, a fee is applied.
