Is it time to refresh your outdoor planters on your balcony/terrace and building entrance?
Urban buildings often have grand entrances with intimate outdoor spaces leading to stunning views, which are as important as indoor spaces. These outdoor areas are used for hosting events and relaxing, and nature plays a key role in creating the perfect ambiance. At Micro Plant Studio, we help our clients refresh their outdoor pots, planters, and bowls with flowering and nonflowering plants! We use seasonal plants or ornaments faux plants to capture the year’s four seasons and/or the spirit of your event and aesthetics. Our approach is practical. Clients may have the option of upcycling their pots, or we may provide them with new pots. The cost of pots and plants will vary depending on the pot sizes, total plants needed per pot, and overall job scope. To start the process of getting your pots refreshed, book an onsite visit, and the plant consultant will visit your space to assess the scope of the job. When booking the appointment, you will only pay for the visit, which is nonrefundable. You will be invoiced separately for materials used and labor.Â
The plant consultant will travel to your space before refreshing any of your outdoor pots/planters. During the visit, our goal is to understand the scope of work and gain a better understanding of the space and planters in need of servicing.Â
We will be considering the following areas:
Understanding lifestyle and use of spaceÂ
- Determining the number of plants and pots required
- Evaluating the size of the space in relation to plant size and structure (vertical vs. horizontal)
- Identifying the type of light exposure for plants: direct sun or shade
- Deciding whether the work should be done onsite, offsite, or a combination of both
- Addressing any questions the client may have
We strive to minimize any disruptions to our client’s daily routine. The responses to the above queries will determine the type and quantity of plants required for the project, as well as the primary work location. If the planters are easily movable, we will transport them to the studio. For planters that are too heavy or large to be carried out, the work will be performed on-site. Small projects are typically finished within approximately 1.5 weeks, medium-sized projects within 2-3 weeks, and larger projects within 1.5 months. An expedited project may be completed in a shorter time frame, with an additional fee.
