At Micro Plant Studio, we provide a wide range of customized services. Some of the services are available in our studio but we also travel to your residence. We provide repotting services, plant consultations for plant placement, and plant care. We facilitate the interconnectivity of urban living and nature (plants and flowers)–increasing our quality of life. 

Plant services are available for residents within 8 miles of Micro Plant Studio locations. You will be charged $8 per mile if your address exceeds this distance. Individuals outside of our range, please contact us via phone for quotes. Payment must be received 24 hours before the workshop facilitator’s arrival. If not, your appointment will be rescheduled, or you will receive an in-house credit.

Packages are available for office, residential, and commercial buildings needing plant care for outdoor planters and watering office and foyer plants; please complete the ONLINE FORM for more information. 

All reservations are final. Once you have scheduled your appointment, please be aware that if you cancel your service appointment, you will receive studio credit, which you may use towards any studio purchases.

HOME APPOINTMENT PREPARATION 

Creating a welcoming and safe space for our visit and establishing a rapport with our clients is important to us. Below you will find the best practices for preparing your home for your scheduled appointment. If you have any questions regarding our suggestions, please give us a call. 

The last thing our plant service providers want to experience is an alarm system going off. Is not only alarming for them but embarrassing to activate an alarm system of a home that is not yours. We also do not want to add distress to your neighbors or pets. If you are not going to be present and if your home has an alarm system it would be great to consider the below steps to prevent the alarm from being triggered: 

If you have an alarm system, please make sure to:

  • Create a special code for the plant service provider to turn on/off the alarm system and provide clear instructions how to set the alarm back on.
  • Have someone present to set the alarm off/on.
  • Set the alarm system to turn off during the appointment and on after service.
  • If their is a front desk personnel in the building you reside, please work with them to provide us access to the unit by turning the alarm off and on. 

Prior to your departure, please make the necessary arrangements for providing the plant provider access to your space:

  • Key access should be made two prior to your scheduled appointment.
  • If you have front desk service in the building, please make sure to leave your keys in an envelope with your full name on it and your floor number, unit number, telephone number, and any notes inside the envelope along with the keys.
  • If you prefer, you may drop off the keys of your home at our studio along with listed information above.

Loading Dock: With specific services, we will be required to unload some of the materials near an elevator,  by stairs or building entrance. If your building/home has a loading dock or an elevator under key/code, we ask you to please work the logistics with the front desk personnel to provide us access to it and provide them our company name, Micro Plant Studio.

Parking: Clients that reside in dense areas, with lack of parking spaces, are responsible for making a parking space available within the building or cover the fee for parking in a garage and any other transportation related fees incurred. 

It is our goal to create a safe space for every member of our team and your pets. Overall, all of our team members are pet friendly. Pets are an extension of the family. We understand some pets are very protective of their space and love interacting with things in their surrounding. When plants are being serviced, unexpectedly, sometimes leaves might end up dropping on the floor, and if the pets are around they might become curious and end up eating them, and having a reaction to it. For this reason, we prefer if the pets are not around within the space we are providing the service in. 

Suggestions for protecting the plant consultant and your pet, we highly suggest the following:    

  • Place your pets in a safe space to avoid interference with the plant service provider, this applies if you are going to be present or absent during the consultation or plant service.
  • If you are not present, please place a note on the door stating the type of pet that is inside, if present, inform the person providing the service prior to going into your home. The plants to be serviced should be placed away from the area of the pet, a neutral space.
  • Once the service has been completed, our consultant will walk around and make sure no pieces of leaves are on the floor, we ask the pet owner to do the same. Go team work! 

In preparation for the consultation, we will need photos of the plants to be serviced and a picture of the space where they are displayed. The photos can be uploaded when scheduling your plant service. The system will walk you through it. The photos will provide us with a general idea of sizes of the plants and type of plants that will be serviced.

  • Detail photos of the plants
  • Photo of the space

In order for us to be effective providing our services, the plant owner is responsible for assuring the plants are accessible by: 

  • Placing all plants in spaces that are convenient to reach
  • Removing any objects that might cause the service provider to trip over 
  • Providing access to water supply line/faucet/sink

Creating a safe space to welcome the plant service provider is key.

  • Keep six feet distance from your plant service provider
  • Remove any object that might cause the provider to trip over
  • Make sure to follow all pet suggestions
  • Informing the service provider if the floor is wet/slippery

Base Price: Our personalized services start with a base price of $75. The base price covers traveling time, use of transportation, setting up/breakdown, upkeep of tools, materials, supply, and other items that will be used case by case.

Beyond 8+ Miles Service: Plant services are available for residents within 8 miles of Micro Plant Studio locations. If your address exceeds this distance, you will be charged $8 per mile. Individuals outside of our range, please get in touch with us via phone for quotes.

Creating a personalized booking is a breeze. Under the ‘extras’ section, select the number of plants you need serviced. As you proceed with your booking, please add plants by pot size requiring attention. The system will automatically calculate the cost and time needed to understand how to build a stand for each plant. See the example below for a clear view of your customized booking. For instance, if you have:

  • Four plants potted in a 4″ pot size that need service, you will add four into the system next to the 4″ pot size, and the system will allocate 5 minutes per plant
  • For two plants potted in an 8″ pot size that need service, you will add two into the system next to the 8″ pot size, and the system will allocate 5 minutes per plant
  • Based on the booking above, the system will add:
    • $75 base price + cost for servicing the 6 plants + tax = Your Total
    • In addition, the system will add the total time for servicing the plants. Approximately 30 minutes will be needed to complete this booking. The system will provide you with dates and times available to select from.

At Micro Plant Studio, we offer a comprehensive range of personalized services. Some of these services are available in our studio, while others can be provided at your convenience. We specialize in repotting services, plant consultations for optimal plant placement, and plant care. We aim to bridge the gap between urban living and nature, enhancing our quality of life of plants and flowers through the bea. 

 

All sales are final. Services can be rescheduled within 3 days notice prior to your scheduled appointment by logging in to the online customer panel. The client will be charged 25% from the subtotal if the service provider is required to come back because the wrong size pot was ordered, the door is locked, the space is not ready and/or available for the scheduled service.

STUDIO APPOINTMENT PREPARATION

We are excited to welcome you to our studio and help you with your plant needs. Keeping the plants in our studio healthy is important to us. Below you will find the best practices for preparing for your studio scheduled appointment. If you have any question regarding our suggestions, please give us a call.

When dropping off your plants, please make sure to make your way to the front service desk and ask to speak with the person listed on your reservation. During drop off, your plant will be evaluated for bugs, overall health, and assure the pot size is the correct size. You will be provided with estimated time when to pick up the plants. Once the service is completed, you will receive an email/text informing you the plants are ready for pick up.

In preparation for repotting, please make sure the plants are not contaminated with bugs. Prior to accepting your plant for service, Micro Plant Studio’s team will inspect the plant to assure no bugs are found on the plant. Bugs have a tendency to spread quickly. For this reason, if notice the plant has bugs, the service will be refused until the plant has been disinfected from all bugs. For this reason, we ask you please send us picture of your plants as requested in our system. Take a look at our bug control services!

Please make sure to have the correct pot size for the repotting service. If you do not have a pot at the time of the scheduled service, you may purchase one during your drop off. The plant service provider will be happy to help you identify the pot size for you and match the overall preferred aesthetics.

Before parking, please make sure to read all signage, keep an eye out for street cleaning and resident parking. During weekdays street parking is available for 2 hours, also meter parking is available. Also, if you are thinking to double park in-front of the studio, be very careful with the street code reinforcement personnel, they do ticket. 

We welcome pets as long they are leashed. Beware, we cary plants that are pet friendly and some that are not. For this reason, you assume all responsibility for the wellbeing of your pet and the safety of everyone in the studio.
