On International Women’s Day, Micro Plant Studio partnered with Social Wines, a local South Boston Business, for its first workshop, Naked Wine. Naked Pot. Eileen Elliott, Social Wines’ Operations Director, Edward Hale, Lawyer and South Boston resident, and Julio Cesar Roman, Micro Plant Studio’s owner, facilitated the workshop. Thirteen local residents from the South Boston community and from the Greater Boston area came together for a night of raw wine tasting, to paint a pot, to pot a micro succulent plant, and most important, laughed, connected with new people, and built a sense of community. In addition, participants learned different type of natural wines and basic use of planting succulent tools.
